Normally we get to travel to Cincy & Dayton for Easter, but due to the little rascal in my belly we didn't think travelling this year would be in our best interest. Therefore, we found other fun ways to celebrate the holiday!
Friday morning, we visited a nearby park, Elizabeth Park, for the "Marshmallow Drop". Over 20,000 marshmallows are dropped. They do the drop three times allowing for the different age groups. This also made it more fun for us, as we got to watch the helicopter drop marshmallows three times. (Or actually two since we were a little late & missed the first one.) The kids could then turn in one marshmallow for a new coloring book.
Friday afternoon, we met up with our neighbors for a fun Easter Egg hunt through 4 backyards. It was organized well, with one of the rules being each kid could only find 15 eggs, so this made it fun for the little ones a well. Plus there were some eggs with sayings for a treasure hut, and finally a golden egg with an extra special prize. (Unfortunately, the golden egg is still waiting to be found! Two days later, and Kim still isn't giving out any hints...he he.)
Then Sunday, we were able to spend the morning at the Easter service at Church. Despite their cute outfits, and candy bribery, these are the best pictures I was able to get!
Finally, who would have guessed a new spin brush from the Easter Bunny would be so exciting!! I think she has brushed her teeth about 20 times already today! Decorating it with stickers was pretty fun too!

Quick...Blog Catch up...and Ty's 20 month shots!
Ok, I need to quickly catch this blog up! Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks.
36 wk belly pictures!
Happy St. Patty's day!
Tyler's 20 month pictures. I wouldn't say its necessarily his favorite saying, but his most common saying at home these days seems to be "Brook-e take it, Brook-e take it!" Brooke also felt he needed some help with his sign pictures as usual, which does make him laugh more, so I can't complain.

Watermelon
Well they don't sell watermelon as big in March as they do in July. At least that's my story and I am sticking to it!
And a family picture!

Easter Baskets Check!
Shopping with my dad & Nick the other day at the liquor store, they though I wouldn't be able to find anything to buy. They were wrong! I found these super cute baskets, but decided they needed liners so the kids could tell them each apart. Sowing is never a quick job, but not sure I anticipated for it to take all day. Either way, I am excited to have found cute fabric, and make my kids their Easter baskets. (They were pretty excited too, and I am sure will be extra excited next weekend to put them out for the Easter bunny!)
I made sure to include a picture of the cut fabric as proof I really did make them.

44 Months!
Plus a PJ party at daycare this morning! I am not sure who was more excited....the kids, or the parents not having to get everyone dressed in the morning!
People warned us to not be too excited about a 10 week old baby that slept through the night, as it was "just a stage". Well Brooke's latest "stage" continues to be exhausting. Besides the need to have someone (by someone I mean only mommy works) sit in the room for about 30 minutes until she falls a sleep. She has a tendency to wake in the middle of the night with a very similar request / need. We know is just another of those "stages", but not sure how this one will work out with the new baby! I guess its just one thing at a time to worry about. Good news is some how regardless how much sleep she gets at night, she is ready to go first thing in the morning, and normally in a great mood.

Baby William's Baptism
A few weekends ago we all traveled down to Cincy for Baby William's baptism. It was a very nice service after church and a fun time visiting with Nick's family. However, I am so excited to be done with traveling for a little while.
Here are a few of the pictures from the service!
