Ty Ty is 10 Months Old

Wow hard to believe Tyler is only 2 months shy of a year!  I guess time goes quicker with the second as you have even less time to sit down. 

Tyler continues to posses all the typical "boy traits".  He is a eating machine, and is already eating more food than Miss Brooke.  He enjoys eating so much, you can actually hear him humming!  He is all over the place, and has discovered drawers, which Brooke still hadn't found, and he loves trying to turn any and all objects into a jungle gym.  We are still trying to work on his sleeping through the night skills, and were hoping based on the amount of food he was eating we would be getting closer, however the last few nights we have had to feed him at 8:00; 10:00; 12:00; 3:30; 6:30...whew that is one hungry little man!  Fortunately goes right back to sleep after being feed, and is a very happy little guy.  He is taking two naps a day; 8-9 a.m. and 12-2 p.m.  His weight is up to 21.8 lbs, so he is just barely allowed in his "baby bucket", and we are planning on transfering him to his big boy car seats soon.  Its just so nice to be able to "strap him down", while you are finishing gather your stuff, and it easier to carry him out in.

Here are Tyler's 9 month profession pics.  Tyler was still fighting ear infections at this time, so there were really only two pictures we liked. 

Also, we finally at 10 months got his "9 Month" wellness visit & stats.  He is around 50% for weight, and 50-75% on height.

34 Months and counting!

Brooke is 34 months old!  She is up to about 28.4 lbs.  Its been another tough month fighting this awful cough, and unfortunately many visit to the doctor, and one visit to Children's Hospital in Cincy.  It looks like Miss Brooke definitely has asthma. We finally went back to the Allergy and Asthma doctor this weekend.    We got the results of her blood work showing the index of her egg allergy has gone up from 1 to around 3.  Which pretty much means she isn't on the downward slope of getting over it, but it didn't jump up to 50 or 90 either, which is good news.  We also rechecked her for the pet, tree, mold, etc allergies and they all came back negative!! Yeah, we don't need to get rid of Shelly :)  She is on an inhaler a few times a day, and we go back to the doctor again in a month to see how her lungs & cough sound.

Brooke has been doing really, really good on her learning of the computer lately.  She loves just sitting and navigating on her own through the different Elmo movies on youtube.  We are super impressed with how good she is with the mouse already!!

Yes, her sleeping positions do still crack me up.  I did "unfold" her, and cover her up after the picture.

New "Little" Bike

Driving home from work, and this little bike caught my eye.  I decided it was worth the $3 investment, and realized, we probably should have started Brooke on a bike earlier.  She is still trying to master the "pushing the top pedal only, and not both at the same time", but we are confident she will get there soon.  I wouldn't be surprised if Tyler was riding this as well by the end of the summer.  Regardless, she was super excited to call this "her bike."  Of course, Nick realized how excited she was, and I am sure she will be getting a larger one soon as well.
