13 Months

Yes, the picture fun is still continuing! It gives me an excuse to make sure I at least get one picture of the kids each month.  So far that hasn't been an issue as I think I average around 100 pictures a month, but just in case I have this security!  Tyler is so close to walking, and I think he could if he didn't feel he could get places quicker crawling.  He has taken about 4-5 steps, but doesn't prefer this method of mobility at this point.

He is still a great eater, and loves his milk.  He also loves sharing his food with Shelly, and giggles each time she gets a bite. I am also very excited to say he has finally master sleeping through the night...woo hoo!  On the weekends, he is going down around 8:30, and waking around 8:30, with a 2-3 hr nap in the afternoon.  During the week we are trying to get him down around 8, and he gets woken up around 6:30.  Fortunately, he also takes a morning nap at daycare.  (Boy do I wish I could get that much sleep!)

Happy 13 months little man!

Another Great Visit to the Cottage

We spend the last week at the family cottage again in Montague, MI.  The cottage was packed with 8 adults, 6 kids, and 4 puppies!  Fun & crazy all at the same time.

We also got to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday, and he had been waiting 60 years for his first elephant ride!  We went to a small little circus in Muskegon, MI for the afternoon.

The kids loved helping Papa blow out his candles, and open his presents!

Brooke & Emi also really liked helping him eat his yummy chocolate ice cream cake!

Happy puppies on the beach!

Too bad Eliza's head apparently fell off...or was it Jorryn's?  I am so confused.

Another afternoon bike ride to the library.  Were that serious about it being a "One Way"?

Brooke also celebrated her 37 month birthday at the cottage, and Emi was more than happy to help hold the sign.

Now to try unpacking, and making it back to work on Monday!

Baby Reagan!

One of my best friends from collage, welcomed baby Reagan Annabella on July 10th, weighing 6 lbs 2 oz.   We got to visit with Sandy, Christian, and Reagan when she was 2 1/2 weeks old.  I would definitely say she is the smallest baby I have ever held. Reagan is a very sweet little girl, and it was super nice of her parents to let Brooke hold her as well!

Great Grandma Marg!

Tyler got to meet his Great Grandma Marg for the first time a few weeks ago!  She lives near Cleveland, so we don't get out that way as much as we would like to.  Here are a few pictures from the visit!  We love you so much Grandma.

How Old?

How old do you think the kids will be when they don't think its fun to dress alike any more?  Hopefully no time soon!

Special Prayers

My cousin, Ginnie, was blessed with her first little baby girl, Ainsley Beatrix on Friday, Aug. 3rd.  Unfortuantely the little girl exprienced complications during delivery, and is still in the NICU.  It would be nice if you could keep little Ainsley Bea in your prayers.
